- Conduct daily equipment inspections to verify proper functioning and inform the supervisor of any issues identified.
- Walk besides or ride on planting machines while in the mechanical planters at specified intervals
- Adjust farm machinery and notify supervisors when machinery malfunctions
- Attach farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, using bolts and hand tools
- Operate equipment used in agricultural production, such as tractors, combines and irrigation equipment
- Observe and listen to machinery operation to detect equipment malfunction
- Valid driving license.
