Position Summary
The Assistant Nurse Manager is a registered nurse who, using critical thinking skills, coordinates the clinical activities within the Critical Care areas and collaborates with other members of the health care team. She/he directly and indirectly supervises the care rendered by all Critical Care service line staff. She/he assumes house supervision duties as assigned.

Qualifications
EDUCATION
- Associate Degree, BSN preferred
EXPERIENCE
- 2-3 yrs RN experience in Critical Care
LICENSE
- Registered Nurse
CERTIFICATION
- BLS/CPR (AMERICAN HEART ASSN)
- PALS
- ACLS (AMERICAN HEART ASSN),
- NIH STROKE (within 60 days of hire/transfer effective date)
- TNCC INEXPERIENCED (withing 2 years of hire or transfer)
