Duties

• Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning activities within assigned areas, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to quality standards
• Lead, motivate, and train janitorial staff to deliver exceptional custodial services, fostering a team-oriented environment
• Develop and manage cleaning schedules that align with operational needs and safety protocols
• Conduct regular inspections of work sites to verify cleanliness, safety compliance, and proper use of cleaning equipment and supplies
• Oversee inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment; place orders as needed to maintain operational readiness
• Enforce health and safety regulations related to custodial work, including proper handling of chemicals and waste disposal
• Collaborate with management to implement process improvements that enhance cleaning efficiency and service quality

Experience

• Proven supervising or management experience in janitorial or custodial services, preferably within route or smaller office environments
• Extensive janitorial experience including commercial cleaning, housekeeping management, laundry operations or hospital/healthcare facility maintenance
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities effectively
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, safety standards, and equipment used in professional custodial settings
• Familiarity with hospitality industry standards related to cleanliness and guest service excellence
• Experience in managing inventories of cleaning supplies and maintaining compliance with health regulations

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
