Indian River County, Florida is seeking a candidate to fill the position of either Senior Planner or Planner for the Metropolitan Planning Org. division.
This is a professional planning position involving MPO related planning activities. Duties include long range transportation planning, transit planning bicycle / pedestrian planning, capital improvements programming, travel and transit demand analysis, and GIS analysis (ARCMap).
The Ideal Candidate Will Possess
Senior Planner: Master's degree in planning or closely related field supplemented with two years of professional planning experience; or bachelor's degree in planning or related field, and a minimum of five years of direct experience.
Planner: Bachelor's degree in planning or a closely related field from an accredited university and a minimum of two years of professional planning experience.
