Position Summary:
Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Testing Coordinator. Boca Raton, FL
The Testing Coordinator will report directly to the Assistant Director of Testing and Certification.
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Supervises as well as administers State and National testing, other computer-based and internet-based testing, proctored correspondence and make up testing.
- Supervises all aspects of computer testing in five computer labs with 90 workstations, as well as the Prometric Testing Center Lab.
- Meets regularly with the Associate and Assistant Director to discuss weekly operations.
- Upholds confidentiality policies as determined by the federal government, state, university and testing entities.
- Requires essential vendor certifications to administer computer based exams given at the testing center.
- Operates computers and specialized software and other equipment.
- Provides training as necessary.
- Maintains interdepartmental communications, as necessary and appropriate, to ensure the achievement of the Department's mission.
- Attends periodic training programs as a participant and/or trainer, including but not limited to briefing the departmental staff regarding operations, policies and procedures for Testing and Certification.
- Assists in training all personnel regarding checking identifications, monitoring computer logins for students, and setting up workstations, to ensure a controlled testing environment.
- Supervises the close-down phase of the computers after testing is completed.
- Supervises and maintains file documentation for all tests.
- Resolves questions from potential test applicants, FAU students and others about test registration process, as well as monitoring telephone calls to provide information as needed.
- Provides information for Test Preparation to customers who call or visit the center

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in an appropriate field from an accredited institution with 2 years of appropriate experience required; or a Masters degree in in an appropriate field from an accredited institution required.Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
2 years of management/supervisory experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, customer service skills, and organizational skills.
Strong computer skills.
Strong work ethic, dependability, and the ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects.
Salary:
$44,500.00 - $49,500.00 per year.

Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. with occasional Saturday hours as needed.
