Position Summary:
Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Test Proctor – Boca Raton, FL.
The Test Proctor supports the administration of academic and professional examinations within the Testing Center. This role ensures a secure, fair, and standardized testing environment by assisting with candidate check-in, monitoring exams, enforcing testing protocols, and maintaining strict confidentiality. The Test Proctor works closely with staff to deliver high-quality testing services while upholding all institutional and regulatory requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma required.
Customer Services Skills Required.

Salary:
$15.00 - $16.00 hourly.

Work Days and Hours:
Part -time Monday - Saturday, up to 20 hours weekly with varying shifts.

The Test Proctor supports the administration of academic and professional examinations within the Testing Center. The Test Proctor works closely with staff to deliver high-quality testing services while upholding all institutional and regulatory requirements.
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Assist staff with the academic and professional test registration, administration, and record keeping for paper-based, computer-based, and internet-based exams (university, national, state, local, and Prometric testing).
- Provide scheduling and check-in support, including verifying identification, collecting biometrics, and capturing photographs of students and candidates as required for exam admission.
- Escort candidates to designated testing rooms and collect all testing materials upon exam completion.
- Monitor testing environments to ensure security, including use of security wands and operation of electronic/digital surveillance systems.
- Support opening and closing procedures, including preparation of testing materials and clean up of testing labs.
- Report and document any breaches of testing security and uphold confidentiality policies in accordance with federal, state, university, departmental, and testing agency requirements.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all examinations administered and stored within the Testing Center.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
