Florestone Products, part of the Molded Products Group of American Bath Group, is seeking a driven and operationally focused Assistant Plant Manager to join our manufacturing leadership team in Denison, Texas.

American Bath Group is one of North America’s largest manufacturers of residential and commercial bathing products. Within the organization, the Molded Products Group manufactures high-quality bath and shower solutions under several trusted brands, including Florestone.

The Assistant Plant Manager plays a critical leadership role within the facility and works closely with the Plant Manager to help lead daily operations, support department leaders, and drive performance across the manufacturing operation. This role offers significant exposure to plant leadership, operational strategy, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

· Support overall plant operations and leadership activities across production, maintenance, quality, and shipping departments.

· Partner with the Plant Manager to support plant performance, productivity, and operational efficiency.

· Assist in monitoring and managing plant financial performance including cost control and operational KPIs.

· Provide leadership, coaching, and support to department supervisors and production teams.

· Analyze operational data to identify opportunities for process improvement and performance gains.

· Support the development and execution of continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.

· Promote and reinforce a strong safety culture and compliance with environmental and safety standards.

· Work cross-functionally with HR, engineering, maintenance, and leadership teams to support employee development and operational goals.

· Assist with production planning, workforce coordination, and operational priorities.

· Participate in capital projects, equipment upgrades, and operational improvement initiatives that support long-term plant performance.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related field preferred, or equivalent manufacturing leadership experience.

· 3–7 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

· Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, plant performance metrics, and safety practices.

· Experience supporting plant financial performance, cost management, or operational efficiency initiatives is preferred.

· Proven leadership ability with experience developing teams and driving operational results.

· Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

· Spanish speaking or bilingual candidates are preferred but not required.

Pay: $49,506.93 - $80,000.00 per year
