What You'll Do
Be the Go-To HR Partner
- Serve as the primary HR contact for a portfolio of clients
- Build strong relationships and deliver tailored HR solutions
- Proactively identify issues and provide strategic guidance on employee relations, compliance, and benefits
Drive Operational Excellence
- Oversee core HR functions like onboarding, payroll, and benefits administration
- Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant HR service delivery
- Partner cross-functionally to streamline processes and improve efficiency
Lead & Develop a High-Performing Team
- Mentor, coach, and develop HR team members
- Set goals, provide feedback, and support professional growth
- Ensure service levels are met-and exceeded
Ensure Compliance & Mitigate Risk
- Stay ahead of federal, state, and local employment laws
- Conduct audits and implement compliance best practices
- Address risks before they become problems
Innovate & Improve
- Identify opportunities to enhance HR services and client satisfaction
- Lead projects that drive efficiency and scalability
- Align HR strategies with broader business goals
Train & Empower
- Deliver engaging training sessions for clients and internal teams
- Support onboarding/offboarding of clients
- Be a trusted resource for HR best practices
Work Environment
- This role operates in a professional office environment and involves regular use of computers, phones, and standard office equipment. Occasional travel to client sites may be required
What we are Looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field
- 5 years of progressive HR experience
- 2 years in a leadership or client-facing role
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance
- Experience with HRIS and payroll systems
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
Bonus Points For: HR certifications like PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP
