What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Nurse position at Florence Roche Elementary School?
The Florence Roche Elementary School is looking for a School Nurse for the 2026-2027 school year. Salary in accordance with the Unit A contract.
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years of nursing experience; pediatric, emergency room, or community health experience preferred.
- Experience managing pediatric chronic illnesses and behavioral/mental health concerns is a plus
- Provide first aid, emergency care, and triage for student and staff injuries or sudden illnesses.
- Administer daily prescription and emergency medications in accordance with district policy and state nursing regulations.
- Stabilize severely ill or injured individuals until emergency medical services or parents/guardians arrive.
- Assess students visiting the health office to determine if they should return to class or go home.
- Other duties assigned by supervisor.
Salary : $55,841 - $113,966
