We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Piano Teacher to join our music education team. The Piano Teacher will work with children, teens, and adults, adapting teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of each student.
Responsibilities
- Choose piano curriculum and repetoire for individual students.
- Provide one-on-one piano instruction, focusing on technique, theory, and performance skills.
- Create lesson plans that incorporate various teaching methods to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
- Manage studio lesson dynamics effectively, ensuring a supportive and encouraging atmosphere for all students.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to foster improvement.
- Collaborate with parents or guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns.
- Maintain an organized workspace and ensure all materials are readily available for lessons.
Skills
- Proven teaching experience with children, adolescents, and adults in music education.
- Experience working with students with special needs or in early childhood education is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques and childhood development principles.
