CDL Requirements:
- CDL license required; passenger or school bus endorsement
- 1 years’ experience driving a school bus
- No at-fault accidents in the last 5 years
- Insurable driving record
CDL Responsibilities
- Execute timely arrival at assigned schools
- Safely transport children and staff
- Obey the rules of the road
- Report any mechanical issues and/or the need for gas or service
- Performs monthly preventative and safety maintenance tasks, documenting necessary repairs and/or service and performs on-going maintenance as directed.
- Communicates appropriately and effectively in both nonverbal and verbal styles with all children, co-workers and guests.
- Is able to legibly, accurately and thoroughly complete all documentation.
