Position Overview The Marketing & Community Engagement Coordinator supports Fuller Center’s marketing, communications, volunteer engagement, and community outreach efforts. This role helps strengthen the organization’s visibility, engage volunteers and supporters, and assist the Development team with communications and the execution of special events. The Coordinator will help execute marketing initiatives, maintain volunteer documentation and compliance processes, and coordinate communications that highlight the organization’s impact. This position is ideal for a creative, organized professional who enjoys storytelling, community engagement, and mission-driven work.
Key Responsibilities Marketing & Communications
Coordinate and execute social media and digital communications across multiple platforms
Create marketing materials including social graphics, flyers, invitations, presentations, press releases and event collateral
Lead the coordination, design, and production of the organization’s annual report, including content development, data collection, and final publication.
Manage the production and distribution of newsletters, email campaigns, and donor communications
Maintain and update website content in coordination with the Development team and CEO
Capture and organize photos and stories from programs and events that highlight organizational impact
Track marketing engagement metrics and provide periodic reporting
Community Engagement & Volunteers
Support and coordinate volunteer engagement activities, including recruitment communications and appreciation initiatives
Maintain volunteer documentation, records, and compliance processes
Coordinate communications with volunteers regarding opportunities, schedules, and engagement events
Assist in identifying volunteer stories and community testimonials that highlight Fuller Center’s impact
Development & Fundraising Support
Provide communications and logistical support for donor outreach and stewardship activities
Assist with planning and execution of fundraising events and community engagement initiatives
Coordinate event materials, including invitations, marketing assets, signage, and printed collateral
Support day-of logistics for fundraising and community events
Assist with documentation and communications related to donors and supporters as needed
Administrative & Documentation Support
Maintain organized records related to marketing activities, volunteers, and communications
Assist with managing photo permissions and media documentation
Support internal documentation and reporting needs for marketing and development initiatives
Qualifications Required
Strong professional writing, editing, and communication skills
Ability to create clear and engaging communications for donors, volunteers, and community audiences
Strong organizational and project management skills
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders
Strongly Preferred
Graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools)
Experience managing social media accounts for an organization
Experience working in a nonprofit or mission-driven environment
Familiarity with email marketing platforms such as Constant Contact or similar tools
Work Schedule This is an in-office position based at Fuller Center locations in Palm Beach County. The role operates primarily in a professional office environment but requires regular travel between Fuller Center campuses and community event locations. Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required to support fundraising events, volunteer activities, or community engagement initiatives. Reliable transportation is required.
