What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse (RN) – Outpatient Surgery Center position at FLORENCE EYE SURGERY CENTER LLC?
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our high-volume, single-specialty outpatient surgery center. In this role, you will play an integral part in providing safe, efficient, and patient-centered care throughout the surgical experience.
Ideal candidates will have experience in Pre-Operative, Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), or Operating Room (OR) settings, but we are willing to train motivated individuals who demonstrate strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and a desire to grow in a surgical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for surgery, including assessments, IV starts, and pre-op teaching
- Provide post-operative recovery care and monitor for complications
- Circulate and/or scrub during surgical procedures (if experienced)
- Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, and other team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Deliver outstanding patient service with professionalism and empathy

Schedule:
- 2-3 days per week, 15-30 hours
