What are the responsibilities and job description for the JV Football Assistant Coach position at Florence County School District 03?
Responsible To: Principal, Athletic Director
Salary: Athletic Supplement Schedule; based on years of experience
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:
- Employment in Florence County School District Three;
- Skilled in interpersonal relations with pupils, parents, teachers, staff, and the general public;
- Ability to organize and supervise a sports program;
- Knowledge of interscholastic athletic policies/regulations;
- Knowledge of the technical aspects of the sport.
Selected candidates must have the ability to:
- Exhibit professional behavior in the presence of students to serve as a proper role model for student-athletes;
- Participate in all required training sessions, practices and games;
- Obtain and maintain a valid Commercial Driver’s License with PS Endorsement. The employee may be required to operate a commercial motor vehicle in order to transport athletes;
- Abide by all federal, state, and local laws related to students and their well-being.
