Florecer Skills Inc. is seeking a Lead Neuroinclusive Environmental Systems Specialist to support residential and supported living programs serving individuals with autism, ADHD, and intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
Primary Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive environmental assessments focused on sensory processing, executive functioning, behavioral regulation, safety, and functional independence.
• Design and implement neuroinclusive environmental systems that reduce environmental stressors and improve daily living outcomes.
• Develop structured environmental organization frameworks that promote predictability, autonomy, and executive functioning.
• Create written environmental protocols and implementation guidelines for use across residential and supported living settings.
• Provide training and consultation to direct support staff, caregivers, and program teams regarding sensory-supportive environmental strategies and maintenance of structured systems.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate environmental systems into individualized support plans.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of environmental interventions and recommend modifications to improve safety, stability, and independence outcomes.
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field (or foreign equivalent).
• 24 months of experience as an Interior Designer or related occupation.
• Experience designing and implementing environmental systems for individuals with autism, ADHD, or IDD.
• Experience applying sensory-regulation and executive-function-supportive design strategies in residential or supported living environments.
• Spanish language proficiency required.
