Overview
Flooring Services LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Project Coordinator to join our team. The role will support the planning, scheduling, and execution of commercial and residential flooring projects from start to finish. This position serves as the central point of communication between clients, project managers, installers, vendors, and the internal office team to ensure each job runs smoothly, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily project activities, timelines, and schedules for multiple flooring projects.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, contractors, and installers to communicate project updates, delivery schedules, and jobsite requirements.
- Prepare project documentation including estimates, purchase orders, change orders, and job closeout packages.
- Track material orders, deliveries, and inventory to ensure product availability aligns with installation timelines.
- Review plans, layouts, and specifications to verify scope and identify potential conflicts before installation.
- Maintain accurate project files and update progress reports in coordination with project managers.
- Assist with scheduling crews, dispatching installers, and confirming daily jobsite readiness.
- Communicate any delays, issues, or cost impacts promptly to the Project Manager.
- Coordinate final inspections, punch lists, and warranty documentation.
- Support compliance with safety, quality, and company standards on all job sites.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in flooring, construction, or project coordination preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and project tracking software.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and job specifications a plus.
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-up skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
