Commercial Flooring Installer
Flooring Perfections is actively hiring experienced commercial flooring installers to join our growing team. We are looking for dependable, hardworking individuals with experience in one or more flooring trades including carpet, carpet tile, LVT/LVP, hardwood, laminate, VCT, ceramic tile, and sheet vinyl installations.
We are a Texas-based commercial flooring company with nearly 40 years in business, working on projects across hospitality, multifamily, corporate, healthcare, retail, and other commercial sectors nationwide.
Responsibilities:
- Install various commercial flooring products according to specifications and industry standards
- Perform floor preparation including patching, leveling, grinding, and moisture mitigation when needed
- Read blueprints, layouts, and installation plans
- Maintain clean and organized job sites
- Work efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship
- Travel to project locations as needed
- Communicate professionally with project managers, superintendents, and team members
Qualifications:
- Experience in commercial flooring installation preferred
- Knowledge of carpet, LVT/LVP, laminate, hardwood, tile, VCT, and sheet vinyl installations
- Ability to operate flooring tools and equipment safely
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding environments
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel is a plus
