Flooring Perfections is seeking experienced Commercial Ceramic & Porcelain Tile Installers to join our growing team. We have been serving Texas since the 1980s and specialize in high-quality commercial flooring installations for hotels, retail, healthcare, education, and office projects.
We're looking for dependable installers who take pride in their workmanship, can work independently or with a crew, and understand the importance of completing projects safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Install ceramic, porcelain, quarry, and natural stone tile.
- Read and interpret construction drawings and layouts.
- Perform floor preparation, including grinding, patching, crack isolation, waterproofing, and self-leveling underlayments.
- Set large-format tile, mosaics, wall tile, shower systems, and specialty installations.
- Install mud beds, Schluter systems, waterproofing membranes, and expansion joints when required.
- Grout, caulk, and finish installations to commercial quality standards.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
- Communicate professionally with superintendents, project managers, and fellow installers.
- Meet project schedules while maintaining quality workmanship.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of commercial tile installation experience (preferred).
- Ability to install large-format porcelain tile accurately and efficiently.
- Experience with waterproofing systems such as RedGard, Mapelastic, Hydro Ban, or similar.
- Knowledge of ANSI and TCNA installation standards.
- Ability to read plans and establish layouts.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must have your own basic tile installation tools.
- Ability to lift 75 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Ability to pass jobsite safety requirements when applicable.
