Flooring Sales Associate

We are expanding our sales team and looking for a highly self-motivated, customer-focused Sales Associate with 3-5 years flooring or related industry experience. If you enjoy working with homeowners, builders, commercial/residential contractors-- and want a career with strong income potential-- this is an excellent opportunity.

We are not just a flooring store. Our company provides full flooring solutions (residential & commercial), kitchen/bath remodels and additional earning potential selling window treatments. This means multiple revenue streams and additional earning potential for the right person.

Hours will include Saturdays (9 AM -2PM). No nights or Sundays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist walk-in customers with product selection, design, layout, and project planning.
• Work with current builders and their clients to meet flooring needs within budgets and upgrade options.
• Present and sell window treatments for additional earning potential.
• Measure residential and commercial spaces for accurate estimating.
• Prepare bids and job cost estimates for both residential and commercial projects.
• Generate new leads and build relationships with retail customers, builders and contractors
• Maintain strong follow-up practices and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Work independently and stay movitated to meet sales goals.

Requirements:

• Valid US Driver's License/Reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check
• Proficient in basic Computer/Email skills
• Strong verbal/written communication skills
• Dependable, organized and committed to excellent customer service
• Personable, professional and a true team player
• Professional appearance
• Interior design knowledge or degree is a plus.

This position is for a full time employee.
