What are the responsibilities and job description for the Flooring Sales Associate position at FLOORING COMPANY?
Looking for qualified and experienced applicants only!
Busy flooring company looking to add an experienced sales representatives. Previous experience with flooring (tile, carpet, laminate, etc.) is a MUST!
Duties included:
- Provide exceptional customer service to all customers
- Assist customers in finding the flooring options for their needs
- Explain features and benefits to customers of different products
-Measure at customer's homes and in-process construction homes
-Price products & create quotes for customer
Requirements:
-MUST have flooring experience (sales or install)
- Previous experience in retail sales is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and establish relationships with customers
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Basic math skills for measuring and pricing
- Proficient in phone etiquette for answering customer inquiries and providing information
-Previous decorating, installing or construction sales a plus!
Pay is based on experience and proven sales results. Can be a mix of commission and salary.
