Floor Installer

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Floor Installer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and restoring various types of flooring and related surfaces across commercial and residential projects. Your expertise will help transform spaces, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet client specifications and industry standards. Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and install a variety of flooring materials including tile, hardwood, laminate, vinyl, and carpet with precision and care.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and installation instructions to ensure accurate execution of projects.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for flooring installation, caulking, trim carpentry, fixture installation, and surface preparation.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and repairing as needed to ensure optimal adhesion and durability of flooring materials.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to coordinate schedules, review plans, and address any on-site challenges promptly.
• Perform water damage restoration tasks when necessary, including moisture mitigation and surface repair to restore flooring to its original condition.
• Maintain a clean work environment by adhering to safety protocols, managing waste materials properly, and ensuring tools are well-maintained.

Skills

• Extensive experience in flooring installation including tile laying, carpet fitting, laminate setup, and vinyl flooring.
• Strong knowledge of construction estimating procedures for project planning and material procurement.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to execute precise installations.
• Skilled in using hand tools such as saws, hammers, chisels as well as power tools including drills and buffing machines.
• Background in carpentry tasks such as trim carpentry, cabinet installation, caulking, remodeling work, and fixture setup.
• Familiarity with water damage restoration processes along with general construction site experience.
• Ability to perform floor care duties like buffing and finishing surfaces for a polished look.
• Knowledge of the restoration industry standards related to flooring repairs and surface treatments.
• Experience with concrete finishing or remodeling projects is a plus.
• Handyman experience that includes construction painting or miscellaneous repair work is advantageous. Looking for experienced carpet installer or laborer familiar with the trade. Willing to train the right person. Pay will be based off experience. Pay cash on Fridays.

If u can’t be on time and reliable this jobs not for you . If u worked Monday and Tuesday and call off the rest of the week but call all day Friday for pay this jobs not for you. I will not answer and will pay the following Friday for my inconvenience.

• Labor - pay per day or 600 a week
• Experienced labor 800 a week
• Installer that can be left on jobs and run a crew $1,000 plus!

Pay: $600.00 - $800.00 per week
