Hardwood Flooring Installer

Floorcraft Designs – Northwest Ohio / Southeast Michigan
Pay: $25–$30 per hour (based on experience)
Full-time | Year-round work

We are looking for a skilled wood floor installer who takes pride in their work and wants to build a long-term career with a respected company.

This is not a production crew environment. We are looking for installers who care about the details and are committed to doing the job right.

Responsibilities

• Install hardwood flooring (nail-down, glue-down, and floating systems)
• Sand and refinish hardwood floors
• Perform detailed layout and preparation work
• Deliver high-quality finished work that meets professional hardwood flooring standards
• Maintain clean, safe, and professional job sites
• Communicate professionally with team members and homeowners
• Complete work on schedule while maintaining quality standards

Requirements

• 3 years hardwood flooring installation experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation
• Professional appearance and respectful conduct
• Very limited personal phone use on job sites; phones are for work communication or breaks only
• Professional references or recommendations from previous employers preferred
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential
• Interest in long-term employment and growing with the company
• Ability to produce high-quality finish work
• Must maintain a professional and drug-free work environment
• Strong work ethics, no drama, no excuses, and no shortcuts
