Responsibilities
- Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and transport goods throughout the facility and between warehouses.
- Use our warehouse management systems to accurately track inventory movement and update stock records in real-time.
- Prepare orders for shipment by picking, packing, and verifying items using order picking techniques aligned with shipping & receiving standards.
- Ensure proper stocking procedures are followed to optimize space utilization and inventory accuracy.
- Manage shipping logistics by coordinating with carriers, preparing shipping documents, and ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and trade compliance standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse to promote safety and efficiency.
- Assist with inventory counts, stock replenishment, and cycle counts.
- Support order fulfillment by efficiently processing orders through picking & packing processes.
- Follow safety protocols during load & unload activities to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals while adhering to quality standards.
Qualifications
- Prior warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse distribution operations is highly preferred.
- Fluent in Spanish and English is preferred
- Ability to operate forklift trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely; forklift certification is a plus.
- Knowledge of shipping logistics, international trade regulations, and trade compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate order picking & packing.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and measurement tasks.
- Comfortable in tracking inventory and order processing.
- Good physical stamina for lifting up to 60 pounds, loading/unloading shipments, standing, walking, and working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to follow safety procedures diligently while working with various equipment.
