Responsibilities
- Review and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to determine project scope and requirements.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates by analyzing material costs, labor, equipment, and subcontractor quotes using our estimating software.
- Utilize RFMS and other construction drawing review tools to extract quantities and identify potential issues early in the estimating process.
- Manage project budgets by tracking costs, controlling expenses, and updating estimates throughout the bidding process.
- Travel onsite to perform measurements and document site conditions.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, clients, and design teams to ensure accurate scope definition and comprehensive bid submissions.
- Maintain organized records of all estimating documents, correspondence, and revisions for future reference.
Experience
- Experience in customer service and able to have a in depth conversation.
- Skilled in blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, and estimating material requirements from blueprints.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Familiarity with construction management software tools and Microsoft Office suite for documentation and reporting purposes.
- In-depth knowledge of construction industry standards, cost control practices, and contract review processes.
- Construction site experience is a plus, providing practical insight into on-the-ground project realities.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
