The role We're hiring an experienced sales professional to grow our presence throughout Greater Los Angeles. This is a remote-first role for a true hunter who already knows the flooring trade, runs their own pipeline with discipline, and wants the backing of a 53-year reputation behind every quote. You'll have real autonomy — and a brand that earns the meeting before you say a word.
What you'll do
- Identify, pursue, and win new commercial and residential flooring accounts across the LA market
- Own the full sales cycle — prospecting, site walks, quoting, negotiation, and close
- Build strategic partnerships with builders, GCs, complementary trades (window blinds, other flooring & carpet shops), and architects
- Grow our presence, including a visible, professional social presence in the local design and construction community
- Build lasting relationships with contractors, designers, and facilities teams
- Keep an accurate, current pipeline in our CRM
What we're looking for
- 7 years of direct sales experience in flooring and carpeting
- A proven hunter who generates their own leads and thrives on the close
- Highly organized — you manage a pipeline without being chased
- Genuinely comfortable adopting new tools: CRM, AI software, modern workflows
- A motivated self-starter who delivers without daily supervision
- Based in the Greater Los Angeles area
This is a role for someone who's already lived in this trade. If you haven't sold flooring or worked in contracting, this isn't the one — and we'll be honest, we won't review it.
Bonus points
- Bilingual, English and Spanish (strongly preferred)
- Experience with public works projects and the public bidding process
Compensation & setup Competitive base commission (discussed at interview). Remote-first with occasional in-person team meetups.
