PositionSummary
As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating flood mitigation systems for Floodproofing.com’s customers. Serving as the primary point of contact to our clients, this role is a desk-based position that analyzes architectural drawings and installer-provided site visit documentation to evaluate project conditions and ensure our systems are accurately applied and compatible with field conditions. The Technical Project Manager works closely with external partners - including engineers, architects, and contractors - and internal teams such as installation and manufacturing to ensure smooth site visits, installations, and timely material production. Success in this role requires strong organization, clear communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Primary Job Duties
- Communicate expectations to clients and continuously follow up to ensure jobs stay on track and milestones are met
- Review site specific shop drawings and work to customize the design to fit the building’s needs
- Regularly partner with install division to ensure site visits are completed thoroughly and communicate any site changes to the customers
- Answer customer questions regarding technical details of the system they have purchased
- Maintain a strong attention to detail
- Obtain Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) Certification within first year of work
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar discipline
- Structural engineering background preferred but not required
- 5 years of experience in construction or engineering related role
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading and basic general construction
- Proficient in Outlook
- Proficient in Adobe or Bluebeam

- Engineering and Technology - Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services.
- Building and Construction - Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of houses, buildings, or other structures such as highways and roads.
- Design - Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
