POSITION: FINANCIAL CONTROLLER
FloMed Infusion is an outpatient infusion clinic offering Medical Infusions and Injections in an outpatient environment. We are seeing a financial controller to join our growing team. In this role, you will assist the Chief Financial Officer in the oversight of financial operations, enhance internal controls, and provide precise, timely reporting to support informed business decisions. Key Responsibilities:
o Direct and oversee the accounting system and financial operations of the company. This includes managing billing, accounts receivable, cash receipts, collections, accounts payable, inventory, general ledger, forecasting, budgeting, internal controls, and audits.
o Prepare monthly and annual financial reviews, budgets, and any financial reports on an ad-hoc basis.
o Develop and implement plans to enhance operational efficiency as requested by the CFO.
o Lead the month-end close process, consistently reviewing procedures while increasing efficiency.
o Assist in monitoring compliance with Medicare regulations.
o Work with the CFO on investor reporting.
o Stay current with changes in accounting regulations, laws, and compliance standards, and ensure the company’s adherence.
Qualifications:
o At least 7 years of relevant professional experience in finance/accounting, preferably in the healthcare industry.
o Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, MBA preferred.
o Knowledge of financial management and analysis principles and techniques and managerial skills typically acquired through experience in accounting or healthcare operations.
o Relevant experience in financial management and financial operations, including but not limited to labor management, revenue analysis, expense management, contract negotiation, and utilization review.
o Relevant experience in budgeting, both capital planning and operations.
o Highly organized, with the ability to effectively manage priorities and meet deadlines.
