What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Payable Clerk position at Flodraulic?
Objective: Vouches trade and non-trade invoices and performs a variety of administrative and financial support tasks. Performs clerical duties as required. Work is performed with minimal supervision using general instructions and procedures. May develop most appropriate methods to handle information.
Essential Functions:
1. Processes trade invoices by verifying transaction information; enters vendor invoices; and files associated paperwork.
2. Processes non-trade invoices after approval by COO. Enters manual AP transactions for completion via printed check or wire transfer (ACH).
3. Contacts vendors for invoice or credit copies as needed
4. Contributes to the team effort by working together with other team members to accomplish the responsibilities of the department.
5. Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
6. Reviews vendor statements
7. Maintains historical records by scanning and filing documents.
8. Handles any other requests that would be required to accomplish tasks. Performs other related job functions as needed to reach results.

Work Environment:
This job takes place in a professional office environment. You will routinely use office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, fax machines, and filing cabinets.
Physical Demands:
· Occasional lifting or moving up to 25 pounds.
· Required to sit, stand, walk, use hands for various tasks, talk and hear.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full time position. Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Required Education & Experience:
· High school diploma or GED equivalent.
· Two or more year’s previous accounting experience or education.
Preferred Education & Experience:
· College in accounting or related field.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
· Basic working knowledge of computer systems and related software.
· Knowledgeable of accounting and financial systems and procedures, company policies and department operations.
· Ability prioritize and to multi-task in a fast paced environment
· Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner
· Eye for detail, accuracy is imperative
· Able to meet deadlines
· Excellent organizational and analytical skills
· Ability to be an effective team member and display initiative
