FFC is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented SolidWorks Professional to join our team in a full-time on-site position. This role is based in Memphis, TN. Will be responsible for creating advanced 3D models, designing complex assemblies, performing detailed simulations, and preparing technical drawings. Collaboration with engineering and production teams will be necessary to improve design processes and ensure quality standards are met.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Proficiency in using SolidWorks, including advanced modeling, assembly creation and sheet metal tools (cavity feature experience a plust).
Experience with technical drawing, design validation, and CAD standards.
Familiarity with materials and fabrication processes related to aviation fuel cells.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with attention to detail.
Results-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering or higher.
Solidworks CSWP certification is a plus.
Previous experience in aerospace or aviation manufacturing/engineering is preferred.
