Be part of the premier fitness and martial arts gym in Chicago’s Northwest suburbs. FLO Fitness & Martial Arts is looking for an Assistant Manager/Sales Associate for our afternoon/evening hours.
We’re seeking a motivated and results-driven individual with at least 1-2 years of experience in fitness and or customer service environments.
Skilled in sales generation, team leadership, and member engagement, with a strong commitment to promoting health and wellness.
Proven ability to meet sales targets, manage daily operations, and create an exceptional member experience all while staying organized, energized, and passionate to create a positive impact in the lives of our members.
Compensation:
- 30hrs/week. Evenings and weekends
- $20 to $25/hour plus commission

Overview:
Seeking a motivated, customer-focused Assistant Manager to support daily operations, drive sales, and lead a dynamic fitness team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service; greet and assist members with professionalism.
- Promote and sell FLO services, classes, and products.
- Support marketing efforts through events and outreach.
- Handle daily operations including opening/closing, cash management, and inventory.
- Supervise, train, and motivate team members to meet sales goals.
- Maintain store presentation and resolve customer concerns efficiently.
- Manage customer follow-ups via phone and email.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1–2 years of retail or customer service/sales experience.
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
- Positive, sales-driven attitude; interest in fitness a plus.
- Flexible availability (evenings/weekends).
- Computer proficiency and professional phone etiquette.
