Duties
- Plan and implement comprehensive training sessions tailored to the skill levels of competitive gymnasts
- Coach athletes during practices and competitions, providing technical guidance and constructive feedback
- Foster a positive team environment that emphasizes sportsmanship, discipline, and personal growth
- Monitor athlete progress through regular assessments and adjust training plans accordingly
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all activities, including proper use of equipment and injury prevention measures
- Collaborate with parents, other coaches, and staff to support athlete development and address individual needs
- Promote behavior management strategies to maintain focus, motivation, and respectful conduct among team members
Experience
- Previous coaching experience in gymnastics is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children and adolescents in a sports or educational setting
- Knowledge of gymnastics techniques, routines, and competition standards
- Experience with behavior management techniques to foster a disciplined yet encouraging environment
- Background in teaching physical education or coaching sports
- First Aid and CPR training is a plus
- Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate young athletes toward achieving their personal best
