Position Description
WE ARE HIRING FOR OUR NIAGARA FALLS, NY LOCATION
The line cook position is an extremely important position within the Flip Burger restaurants. You are the heart of the restaurant. As a company we strive to always prepare per order the best burgers, fries and sandwiches possible. It is important that you prepare consistent, high quality food in conformance with Flip Burger’s standards.
AS OUR COOK YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE OF MAKING THE BEST BURGERS AND SANDWICHES EVER!
Experience & Skills: Previous cook work experience is beneficial to have. Inventory management experience. Skills required to be a good cook include attention to detail, quick learner, and communication. You must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Must have ability to lift, stoop, and bend. Must be able to work at a very fast pace. Must be able to communicate to other team members and management while working the line.
Responsibilities
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Chop vegetables, prepare sauces and other food preparation.
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Clean up station and take care of leftover food
- Stock inventory
Qualifications
- Cooking experience or Back of the House experience preferred
- Able to meet all scheduling commitments
- Able to anticipate needs of others in the kitchen and proactively work to meet those needs
- Strong attention to detail

Compensation
- $16.00- $17.00 hour starting
- $1.95/hour in food and drinks
- $1.00/hour in tips (THIS IS AN AVERAGE BASED ON PRIOR YEARS. NOT A GAURANTEE!)
