Job Description
Flint Group is actively seeking individuals with strong work ethic and positive attitudes to join our Production Team. As a Production Operator, you will play a crucial role in our safety-first environment, executing various tasks to ensure the safe and on-time production of inks. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will be involved in receiving raw materials, ink batch production, re-packing materials, and contributing to maintaining an accurate inventory.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Produce a variety of inks and ink intermediates by following standard operating procedures.
- Locate and verify materials and supplies listed on production orders.
- Carry out tasks in the preparation, reaction, and storage of various products using mixers, pumps, filters, forklifts, and other manufacturing equipment.
- Handle a variety of chemicals and chemical waste products, adhering to safety protocols.
- Batch processing, including changing material, processing batch, monitoring and recording data, loading/unloading, and cleaning equipment.
- Package products, maintain a safe work area, and assist in other production areas as needed.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related result

Physical Requirements
- Must be able to stand for 90% of the day.
- Capable of executing strenuous, sometimes repetitive physical work (lifting, pushing, or pulling objects up to 50 pounds).
- Successful completion of a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
Skills
- Basic math/mechanical aptitude.
- Forklift Experience (Preferred)
- Basic Microsoft Office (Word / Excel / Powerpoint) aptitude.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to prioritize and organize work load effectively.
- SAP Business processing system experience (Preferred)
