Flint Hills Technical College is seeking an enthusiastic and personable Admissions Recruiter to join our team. The Admissions Recruiter represents the College at high schools, career fairs, community events, and other recruitment activities while helping prospective students learn about FHTC programs, opportunities, and the admissions process. This position includes extensive regional travel during peak recruitment periods and occasional daytime and evening events.

College-Supported Travel:

• FHTC-provided vehicle for authorized College travel.
• Lodging provided when an overnight stay is required for College business.
• Meals reimbursed during authorized College travel in accordance with College travel procedures.

Compensation:

• Full-Time, 10-Month Position | August–May
• Salary: $30,500–$37,000 annually, depending on years of experience

Qualifications:

• Must possess and maintain a valid Kansas driver's license
• Eligible to drive under the College's vehicle insurance requirements.
• Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Two years of experience in student recruitment, admissions, event coordination, education, sales, customer service or a closely related area preferred.
• Ability to establish positive relationships with prospective students, families, College employees, and community partners.
• Ability to travel regularly and occasionally stay overnight.
• Ability to work some evenings and weekends as required for recruitment events.
