What You Will Do
- Perform comprehensive integrity and risk assessments by integrating all available and necessary data (in-line inspection, GIS, CP/IC data, third-party damage, operations, etc.) to identify underlying threats, failure modes, and risk drivers.
- Evaluate inspection data and perform fitness-for-service, remaining life, and consequence assessments.
- Translate risk analysis into recommendations for repairs, maintenance strategies, and other preventative and mitigative activities.
- Produce clear technical presentations to communicate analysis findings to technical teams and leadership.
- Collaborate with various capabilities, including operations, corrosion control, and damage prevention, to collectively achieve safety and performance goals.
- Prepare for and participate in regulatory and third‑party audits; maintain documentation and evidence of compliance and risk management activities.
- Stay updated of industry best practices, regulations, and emerging technologies in pipeline integrity to inform decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or 5 years of related pipeline integrity experience (i.e. pipeline risk analysis, ILI interpretation, fitness-for-service assessments, corrosion/CP analysis, pipeline data integration, DOT Part 192 or 195 compliance)
- Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship
- Significant skills working with multiple large datasets; query, format, manipulate, contextualize, and interpret (experience with SQL, Python, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of pipeline integrity principles, regulations, and industry standards.
- Highly proficient with pipeline integrity analysis software and tools.
- Familiarity with pipeline risk assessment methodologies, including fitness-for-service assessments
