The Mowing Crew Member is responsible for providing high-quality lawn care services, ensuring client satisfaction, and maintaining the company’s standards of excellence. The role includes operating equipment, following safety protocols, and contributing to the overall success of the mowing team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lawn Maintenance:
o Mow, trim, and edge lawns according to client specifications.
o Operate and maintain mowing equipment, including push mowers, riding mowers, trimmers/edgers, and blowers.
o Remove debris and ensure lawns are left clean and professional in appearance.
2. Equipment Maintenance:
o Report any equipment malfunctions or repair needs to the supervisor.
o Mower Blades sharpened twice a week. (Tuesday & Friday)
o Power wash all mowers and hand tools. (Friday)
3. Safety Compliance:
o Adhere to all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
o Identify and report potential hazards in work areas.
o Follow company guidelines for safe operation of machinery.
4. Team Collaboration:
o Work closely with other crew members to complete jobs efficiently.
o Communicate effectively with the crew leader about job progress and any issues encountered.
o Maintain a positive and professional attitude when interacting with team members and clients.
5. Customer Service:
o Address client concerns or questions courteously and professionally.
o Ensure client satisfaction by delivering high-quality service.
o Notify the supervisor of any client feedback or special requests.
6. General Duties:
o Assist with loading and unloading equipment from company vehicles.
o Follow scheduled routes and complete jobs within designated time frames.
o Maintain a neat and presentable appearance while representing the company.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in lawn care or landscaping is preferred but not required.
- Ability to operate lawn care equipment safely and efficiently.
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Reliable transportation to the job site or designated meeting point.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 - $19.50 per hour
