- Process and verify all incoming invoices, expense reports, and vendor payments with meticulous attention to detail using accounting software.
- Ensure compliance and internal policies during all accounts payable activities.
- Reconcile accounts payable ledger entries regularly, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues promptly.
- Manage vendor relationships by responding to inquiries, resolving payment issues, and maintaining accurate vendor records in systems ADP.
- Prepare journal entries related to accounts payable transactions and assist with month-end closing processes.
- Support benefits administration and payroll management tasks when necessary.
- Assist with audits by providing documentation, performing account reconciliations, and ensuring adherence to GAAP standards.
- Maintain data entry accuracy with high-volume processing using 10-key typing skills and ensure timely payments while adhering to deadlines.
- Experiance with Reynolds & Reynolds a plus.
- Proven experience in accounts payable functions within a corporate or public accounting environment.
- Strong understanding of financial concepts including debits & credits, double-entry bookkeeping, and general ledger accounting.
- Excellent analysis skills for account reconciliation and identifying discrepancies efficiently.
- Demonstrated ability to handle data entry accurately at high volumes using 10-key typing techniques.
- Basic understanding of payroll processes, benefits administration, and tax-related transactions enhances overall effectiveness.
