Job Description
The Operations Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of production, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, optimizing processes for efficiency, and leading a team of skilled personnel. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, proven leadership abilities, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe, clean and efficient work environment
- Ensure that all practices and procedures for safety, Quality, Shipping and Production are properly implemented and followed.
- Assume department cost responsibility
- Develop operations budget
- Manage cost to deliver the budget
- Deliver against ongoing Cost savings efforts and challenges
- Complete monthly operations metrics to ensure the facility is running at peak performance and to achieve operational excellence
- Development of personnel for succession planning, ensure team has required skills to deliver against business needs.
