The Aeronautical Engineer Intern will perform meaningful work alongside other talented professionals gaining insight to FlightSafety International’s culture and business philosophy.
This paid internship is a 10-week program that will begin June 1st and will conclude August 4th, 2027. 40 hours per week will be expected of each intern.
Tasks And Responsibilities
Any offer of employment is contingent upon successful completion of required compliance reviews, including verification that the candidate is not prohibited from employment under U.S. economic sanctions programs administered by the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).
This position may require access to export-controlled technology or services subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Employment consideration and any offer of employment are contingent upon the applicant’s ability to comply with these requirements, including qualifying as a “U.S. Person” under applicable regulations or otherwise eligible for export authorization within a timeframe consistent with business needs. A “U.S. Person” includes U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents (holders of approved and unexpired green cards), and certain refugees or asylees with protected status under U.S. law.
This position may also require eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance for the duration of employment.

Tasks And Responsibilities
- Understands the overall concept of the company, including the brand, customer, product goals, and all other aspects of service.
- Rotates through our divisions of responsibility and provides ideas to grow and improve the business.
- Accepts designated, business-focus projects to research, propose ideas and solutions, and present final project during the internship.
- Engages with customers or clients and provides service and/or sales.
- Provide suggestions to management for improving customer service and internal processes.
- Learns and becomes proficient on internal software systems.
- Must currently be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, working towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher at the time of application. Must be submitted on resume.
- Fundamental knowledge of computer programs, techniques, and concepts for the area of application.
- Strong work ethic, self-motivated, positive, personable, and ability to develop relationships.
- Excellent critical thinking/problem solving skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
