Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Strength and Conditioning Coach based in Waltham, MA. The Strength and Conditioning Coach will be responsible for designing and implementing customized training programs, conducting movement and performance assessments, providing injury prevention strategies, and coaching athletes and clients to achieve their individual fitness and performance goals. The role also involves monitoring progress, adjusting training plans as needed, and fostering a supportive and motivating environment.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and experience in Strength & Conditioning, Strength Training, and Athletic Performance programming
- Ability to design and deliver tailored programs that meet individual client needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively connect with and motivate clients
- Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field is preferred
- Possession of relevant certifications such as a CPT or a CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) or equivalent is preferred
- Experience working with both athletes and general population clients is a plus
