Position Purpose:
As an Account Executive at Flight Club, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by selling our flight club experience to potential clients, including companies and social groups. You will also focus on upselling to existing customers and prospecting for new business. This position operates in a fast-paced environment with a significant volume of inbound leads and requires excellent organizational, communication, and sales skills. You will also be responsible for prospecting new leads and attending conventions when necessary. Your primary focus will be on direct selling, accounting for 90% of your time, while dedicating 10% to proactive initiatives aimed at increasing awareness.
Position Responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage a substantial volume of inbound leads
- Achieve high conversion rates for inbound leads
- Maintain and organized sales pipeline effectively
- Comfortably sell the Flight Club experience to businesses and social groups
- Proactively upsell enhancements to existing customers
- Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring their needs are met
- Oversee all aspects of contracted sales, including food/beverage, special requests, final guest counts, and payments
- Conduct timely follow-up after each event to gather feedback and secure referrals and future bookings
- Utilize CRM system and sales analytics tools proficiently to track leads and monitor sales performance
Requirements & Minimum Qualifications
- 2 years of sales experience, preferably in events and/or hospitality.
- Passion for connecting with people and building relationships
- Ability to establish trust and credibility with clients quickly
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and sales tools
- Proficiency in or willingness to learn Triple Seat software
- Passion for Flight Club and our other State of Play Hospitality concepts
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize
- A strong problem-solving mindset to overcome sales obstacles
- Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends
- Understanding of the market a plus
- Similar sales experience in entertainment, hospitality, or restaurants a plus
Compensation & Benefits:
- Annual base salary range of $49,000-$59,000 based on location and experience.
- Quarterly & Year-End Bonus
- Position is remote but expected to visit and work out of local venue 1-2 times per month. If located in Chicago, expected to be at corporate office Monday, Tuesday, & Thursday.
