Duties
- Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with a friendly attitude.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick and correct entry.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Manage table turnovers by bussing and resetting tables promptly, ensuring a smooth flow during busy hours.
- Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems, including cash handling and basic math calculations.
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols.
Skills
- Previous restaurant experience or food industry background is preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings.
- Strong customer service skills with an ability to connect with diverse guests and handle guest relations professionally.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and billing.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts.
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for everyone.
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently while providing attentive guest services.
