What You Will Do
Flexware has continued to grow in both new and existing accounts and is looking for a Business Development Manager that will be primarily responsible for selling for our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Business Intelligence business units. Flexware is looking to expand these capabilities in our portfolio. You will be interfacing with customers, delivery teams, and working with our Business Development teams in existing and new accounts to grow these segments of the business.

You will be interfacing with customers, delivery teams, and working with our Business Development teams in existing and new accounts to grow these segments of the business.
As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Collaborate with Flexware’s Enterprise Solutions and Business Intelligence teams to identify, qualify, manage, and close new opportunities.
- Understanding clients’ business needs and working with Flexware’s delivery teams to provide sustainable and long-lasting solutions
- Establishing rapport with current and prospective clients and growing Flexware’s business by:
- Researching assigned clients and possible contacts to grow accounts
- Meeting and building relationships with new and existing contacts within specified accounts
- Developing and nurturing Microsoft field sales relationships and leads
- Develop effective sales plans and facilitate prospective client projects by working with delivery teams on scoping, estimating, and creating statements of work.
- Examining project risks and potential to determine the best strategy for assigned accounts
- Protect the organization’s values and standards by keeping information confidential when necessary
- Track, update, and manage sales pipeline in accordance with Flexware standards in Salesforce
- Meeting sales and team targets for Flexware’s Business Development Team
- Contribute and collaborate with Business Development Team, delivery teams, and others to update and inform them of the progress of leads, proposals, projects, etc.
- Assisting with and delivering quotes and proposals for assigned clients
- Executing project management activities for projects in assigned clients when needed
- Leveraging the relationships from other members of Flexware’s Business Development team and company leadership in accounts as needed
- Assisting in the development of business goals for the business development team and ensuring that goals are met

Flexdogs are a rare breed of engineers. They come from varied backgrounds, but will have some of the following traits for this role. We are open to individuals with several years of proven sales capabilities to Senior Business Development Managers:
- At least 2 years with a proven ability and understanding to sell Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (specifically Microsoft Solutions) and/or Business Intelligence solutions with a strong preference for manufacturing clients.
- Experience working in a sales capacity, or as a technical architect.
- Proven ability to grow assigned accounts and build relationships with new and existing stakeholders within the accounts either as a sales individual or technical architect.
- Assisted in or lead the execution and delivery of sales plans and growing new and existing accounts as a technical architect or as a sales individual.
- Shown the ability to flourish with minimal guidance by being proactive while multi-tasking and showing excellent organizational skills.
- Assisted in maintaining sales partnerships, vendor relationships, and day-to-day maintenance of data
