About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Front-End Engineer to join the Seller Experience team, focused on enhancing the seller journey within the fashion category. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with designers and engineers to translate product requirements into user-friendly, high-performing interfaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with designers, engineers, and product teams to discuss, refine, and implement UI/UX designs.
- Develop responsive, accessible, and visually consistent UI components using React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Apply strong Data Structures & Algorithms knowledge to build efficient, scalable front-end components.
- Build and optimize pages/features related to seller item listings, category selections, and selling workflows.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and performance optimization across all supported platforms.
- Participate in code reviews, follow best coding practices, and maintain high-quality front-end standards.
- Troubleshoot UI issues and provide performant, scalable solutions.
- Contribute to improving the overall seller experience in the fashion space.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on expertise with React and its ecosystem (Hooks, state management, component lifecycle).
- Strong hands-on expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Solid understanding of Data Structures & Algorithms and ability to write efficient front-end code.
- Experience working in a collaborative environment with designers and backend engineers.
- Solid understanding of responsive layouts, UI/UX principles, and component-based design.
- Experience with debugging tools, browser developer tools, and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
- Experience in e-commerce or seller-focused platforms is a plus.
- Nice to Have
- Knowledge of frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue (plus, not mandatory).
- Experience working on large-scale consumer-facing applications.
- Understanding of accessibility best practices (WCAG).
