Position Summary
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for leading all overnight warehouse operations in a fast-paced airport cargo environment, ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant handling, storage, and movement of cargo and materials. This hands-on leadership role requires a strong people leader who leads from the front, maintains a visible presence on the warehouse floor, and drives operational excellence through accountability, coaching, and team development.
The ideal candidate has proven experience managing warehouse operations, inventory control, logistics, and transportation activities while leading both salaried supervisors and hourly employees. This individual will build a high-performing culture focused on safety, service, productivity, and continuous improvement while ensuring operational goals and customer expectations are consistently achieved
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
- Provide visible, boots-on-the-ground leadership for all overnight warehouse operati

- Ensure adequate staffing levels and effective labor planning to support operational demands.
- Drive employee engagement and maintain high standards of attendance, productivity, and performance.
Warehouse Operations
- Oversee all warehouse activities, ensuring compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and safety regulations.
- Coordinate the receiving, storage, inventory management, and dispatch of cargo and materials to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Implement and maintain best-in-class warehouse organization and storage practices to maximize space utilization and operational efficiency.
- Ensure all warehouse processes support production schedules, customer commitments, and shipping deadlines.
- Monitor operational performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service levels and productivity.
Inventory & Logistics Management
- Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate supply while minimizing excess inventory and carrying costs.
- Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other operational technologies to track inventory, monitor performance, and generate operational reports.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, shipment issues, and operational challenges.
- Coordinate transportation and logistics activities to optimize shipping, receiving, and cargo movement efficiencies.
- Partner with transportation providers and vendors to improve service levels and reduce costs.
Safety & Compliance
- Champion a safety-first culture and ensure strict compliance with OSHA, airport, TSA, company, and customer safety req
- uirements.Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and training sessions.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, quality standards, and ISO requirements related to warehousing and distribution.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with operations, procurement, maintenance, customer service, and other departments to align warehouse activities with broader business
- objectives.Communicate operational performance, staffing needs, inventory status, and improvement opportunities to senior
- leadership.Prepare and present performance metrics, operational reports, and business updates.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Eligible to work in the United States.Valid state-issued driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Experience
- 5 years of warehouse, distribution, logistics, cargo, or supply chain management experience.
- 3 years of leadership experience managing salaried warehouse supervisors, team leads, and/or front-line employees in a high-volume operational environment.
- Demonstrated success leading large teams across multiple shifts in a 24/7 operation.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), inventory control systems, and operational reporting tools.
- Experience in airport cargo, aviation, transportation, logistics, distribution, manufacturing, or related industries preferred.

Salary : $60,000 - $65,000
