About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Aviation Fueling Operations Supervisor to lead aircraft fueling operations in Baltimore, Maryland. This position requires strong, hands-on aviation fueling experience and a solid understanding of aircraft fueling operations, fuel safety, compliance, and frontline team leadership.

This is not a general operations supervisor position. Candidates must have direct experience working in aviation fuel operations, aircraft fueling, or airport fueling services. The ideal candidate has progressed from a Fueler, Lead Fueler, Fuel Supervisor, or similar aviation fueling role and is comfortable leading teams in a fast-paced airport environment.

This position supports a 24/7 operation and requires flexibility to meet operational demands.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily aviation fueling operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and timely aircraft refueling services.
• Lead, coach, and develop operational teams while promoting accountability, teamwork, and a strong safety culture.
• Manage fuel delivery, storage, quality control, and inventory processes in accordance with company policies and industry standards.
• Ensure compliance with FAA, EPA, NFPA, and other applicable safety and environmental regulations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with airline customers, airport authorities, and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor operational performance, staffing levels, productivity, and service quality to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Lead incident response and crisis management efforts, including fuel spills, equipment issues, and operational disruptions.
• Conduct safety inspections, audits, and employee training to maintain operational readiness and compliance.
• Assist with budget management, cost control, and resource allocation to support operational efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of fuel transactions, inspections, inventory, and safety documentation.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to implement process improvements and achieve operational goals.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum of 5 years of leadership or operational management experience.
• Prior aviation fueling experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft fueling operations, fuel handling procedures, and aviation safety standards.
• Proven ability to lead teams, resolve operational challenges, and maintain high performance standards.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem solving skills.
• Experience managing safety compliance, operational procedures, and employee development.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Project management experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and ability to successfully complete required background checks and drug screening.
• Ability to obtain necessary airport credentials and security clearances.
• Open availability and flexibility to support a 24/7 operation, including extended hours as needed.
