Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop tailored treatment plans, and administer therapies such as hydrotherapy, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and therapeutic exercises.
• Collaborate with physicians, caregivers, and families to optimize care and outcomes.
• Supervise and support PTAs and assistants, ensuring high standards of care across our facilities.
• Maintain accurate, outcome-focused documentation within established timeframes.
• Educate patients and families on follow-up programs and discharge planning.
• Travel to oversee care in healthcare centers, day programs, and residential settings as needed.
  
  

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program with a Bachelors or higher degree.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure to practice in NYS.
• Knowledgeable in PT evaluation, treatment modalities, and mobility devices.
• Excellent communicator with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Physically capable of demonstrating transfers and using mechanical lifts.
