Responsibilities
- Partner with site leadership to promote and embed a high-performing safety culture.
- Execute and maintain HSE programs aligned with corporate standards and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in and support internal and external QHSE audits and site assessments.
- Lead and support Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), hazard identification, and corrective action processes.
- Implement and reinforce safety initiatives, including Stop Work Authority programs.
- Deliver HSE training to ensure employee understanding and compliance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support operational goals while maintaining safety standards.
- Maintain a strong presence in operational areas to observe, coach, and reinforce safe behaviors.
- Identify risks and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Fire Science, or a related field
- HSE certification with a minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience; 5 years preferred
- Experience in manufacturing environments, preferably in heavy manufacturing, construction, or similar industries
- Familiarity with HSE systems and tools such as ERP platforms, Microsoft Office, or equivalent software
- Proven ability to design and deliver effective training programs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to drive results in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated with a positive, solution-oriented mindset
- Willingness to travel up to 10–15% as required
