Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in various settings, including primary care, occupational health, memory care, and urgent care. As an LVN, you will play a vital role in patient assessment, treatment, and support, ensuring the well-being of our patients while adhering to best practices in nursing.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and document findings accurately.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during procedures.
- Assist in various healthcare settings, including medical-surgical units, operating rooms (OR), and neonatal ventilator care.
- Provide compassionate care to patients in memory care and pediatric intensive care units (PICU).
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and wellness strategies.
- Monitor patient progress and report any changes in condition to the supervising nurse or physician.
Qualifications
- Valid Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state of practice.
- Experience or training in primary care, occupational health, memory care, urgent care, or medical-surgical nursing is preferred.
- Proficient in patient assessment techniques and documentation practices.
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments such as OR or PICU settings.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to providing exceptional patient-centered care.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team while demonstrating professionalism and empathy.
