POSITION SUMMARY

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with the removal, disassembly, cleaning, inspection, and installation of aircraft interior components including:
o Seats
o Sidewalls and interior paneling
o Carpets and insulation
o Windows
o Galleys and lavatory modules
o Passenger service and support systems
Support installation and removal of interior furnishings and appliances (seats, cabinets, tables, galley equipment, etc.) under supervision
Assist in interior modifications, refurbishments, and repairs as directed
Work both inside aircraft and in shop environments
Operate hand tools and power tools in a safe and responsible manner
Learn to interpret technical documentation including drawings, task cards, and work instructions with guidance
Maintain clean and organized work areas
Communicate effectively with Crew Leads and team members regarding work progress and any challenges encountered
Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and Transport Canada regulatory requirements
Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent required
Technical training in aviation, manufacturing, construction, or a related field is considered an asset
Previous hands-on experience (assembly, installation, construction, automotive, cabinetry, etc.) is considered an asset
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills (English required)
Basic computer skills (Windows and MS Office)
REQUIREMENTS
Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools
Ability to read measuring devices and perform basic mathematical calculations
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this position, employees may be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and loud noise levels. Work may be performed inside aircraft, in hangars, or in shop environments. Proper personal protective equipment is always required.

Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching
Regular use of hands and tools
Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work in confined spaces within aircraft cabins
